As a member of the UBE (formerly Ube Industries) Group, Ube Industries was founded in 1914 as Ube Shinkawa Ironworks, a silent partnership, and in 1999 was spun off as Ube Industries Machinery Co.
In April 2022, the company name was changed to UBE Machinery, and we took this opportunity to clarify our corporate existence value and aspirations by reorganizing our management philosophy based on our founding spirit of "co-existence and co-prosperity" and establishing a new Purpose.
Our mission is to meet the expectations of our customers and the needs of society, not only from an economic perspective of providing excellent products and after-sales service to our customers, but also from a social perspective of contributing to the community and region, and from an environmental perspective of utilizing resources and being carbon neutral.
Currently, companies are faced with the challenge of working toward a sustainable society that takes into consideration not only safety and health, but also environmental sustainability and resource utilization. Based on health management that takes diversity and work-life balance into consideration, we hope to achieve both social and environmental sustainability and corporate sustainability by proactively incorporating new technologies and knowledge in addition to the experience we have accumulated to date.
To this end, UBE Machinery and all employees of the UBE Group will make daily efforts to create products and services that are safe and environmentally friendly, while listening to the voices of our customers and looking to the future of the market.
