Release of new medium-sized "UB-TS series” Die Casting Machine

UBE Machinery Corporation, Ltd. (President: Hironori Miyauchi, Head Office: Ube City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. Hereinafter referred to as "UBE Machinery") , core company of the UBE Group's machinery business, has launched a new medium-sized standard die casting machine "UB-TS Series" equipped with high-power, high-speed injection system suitable for thin casting products such as aluminum, mainly xEV parts, amid the accelerated worldwide shift to xEV.

In line with the trend towards modularization of xEV parts, the lineup ranges for die clamping force from 850 to 1300 ton meets the diverse needs of our customers.

Features of the UB-TS series , high-power and high-speed injection systems

1. 1. Meter-out circuit, proven over many years as the UB-iV series of large die-casting machines, realizes a maximum injection speed of 11 m/s.
   (10 m/s for 1100 and 1300 ton as die clamping force)
2. 2. Adoption of single cylinder intensification mechanism that minimizes intensification time (intensification rising time: 10msec) and the use of an electric servo valve (HS-DDV: our proprietary high speed direct drive valve).
   These short filling times with high response acceleration improve transmission of casting pressure and reduce external and internal defects of casting products.
3. 3. Industry's highest filling forces and high acceleration contribute to quality improvement of casting thin products.
   (Filling force - 850 tons: 314 kN, 1100 tons: 439 kN, 1300 tons: 533 kN)
4. 4. Reducing injection cylinder inertia at the completion of filling of molten aluminum to prevent burr blowing of casting products (30% reduction compared to our conventional products).
