2-platen hybrid clamping system

Transition from a conventional 3-platen hydraulic toggle type to the newly developed 2-platen hybrid type clamping structure with electric die opening/closing and hydraulic clamping.
The toggle-free design reduces the points of deterioration that occur over time. It also reduces maintenance opportunities such as toggle overhaul and platen parallelism adjustment.

Tie bar puller to the shot unit side

UBE unique the tie bar puller system pulls tie bar to shot unit side, which was developed ahead of other die casting machine makers. It’s the shortest length less than 10m in 1250 ton class thanks to the system.
The tie bar puller system is electric driven. It improves safety against fire on furnace side.

Increased space productivity

One-size-fits-all machine in existing installation space.
Larger cast parts can be produced with smaller machines and energy savings, dramatically improving space productivity.

Combined motion for high production cycle

Die opening position optionally can be set for shorter production cycle. The ratchet type safety hook only needs a minimum stroke for machine running.
Changing drive source from hydraulic to electric for die closing and opening, combined motion with core motion is available.

Variable clamping force control (Option)

Multi-stage control of clamping force reduces clamping force during cooling and allows for saving energy.
Individual control of upper and lower clamp forces eliminates the need for toggle parallelism adjustment.
