Equipment Diagnosis
The vibration of the reduction gear during operation shall be measured for diagnosing the wear or damage of the bearings etc.
As these measurements and diagnosis can be performed during normal operation, having periodical measurements together with trend management shall enable early discovery of any abnormality and reduction in sudden or unplanned stoppage since implementation of planned overhaul work is possible.
