Capacity Increase
Suppression of water level difference
If the difference in water level becomes large due to an increase in the inflow of trash, the safety device of the facility will be activated due to overload, and the Screen Equipment will be shut down. As a result, the water intake will be reduced.
The water level difference can be controlled by changing the mesh shape of the screen panel or by attaching a catch bar.
Increased trash scraping capacity
If the difference in generated water level becomes large due to an increase in the inflow of trash, the safety device of the facility will be activated due to overload, and the Screen Equipment will be shut down. As a result, the water intake rate will drop.
By increasing the operating speed and the capacity of the garbage shelf, more trash can be collected.
The bucket type screen, which has two features, "suppression of water level difference" and "increased trash scraping capacity," has been developed and is already in operation at a number of power plants.
